Just saw James Bond, Skyfall

Saw it again today....the shytty dialogue REALLY stood out to me this time.

To me, a film's writing and dialogue are incredibly important, and the writing on Skyfall was subpar at best.

The jokes were awful and the double-entendre between Bond and Moneypenny was awkward as fukk...just a poor effort.

At the end, when someone asks Bond where he was, and he quips "Sorry, I was in some deep water"......was that supposed to be clever?

Movie was OK, Silva was still too goofy to take seriously though...and his plan was ridiculous Why did he hack the new MI6 again? It had nothing to do with his plan to walk into the hearing and cap M.

Set pieces were pretty cool, some nice throwback moments and incredible cinematography. All in all.....decent film. Not the best Bond and not one of the year's best unfortunately.

The movie was shot well, the acting was really good. The action was solid. But I'd give it about a B-. 1st the villian didn't come into till the movie was damn near over. Then the plot/screenplay was very typical. How many times have they done the whole "Secret Agent List Identity has been stolen" also the "Old Agent wanting Revenge". These story lines are tired. The Bond girls weren't even in the damn movie, lol. Also though I liked the Skyfall House scene. I don't agree with the plan. Put yourself in a house and set a bunch of "Home Alone" traps and hope you get the bad guy? really?. But again visually it was just beautiful, I can see why it's such a huge hit worldwide. That scene when he fell through the ice water, briallant filmmaking. Not the best Bond of All time though, far from it.

Movie was dope. But disappointed they abandoned Mr. White and his crew from the first 2 flicks. Still, a damn good flick.

It has it's flaws, some a little glaring, and needed a tighter, more concise screenplay, but the last 40 min, the siege on the moors goes a long way in my opinion. The worst was the hacker stuff, that was like a bad 90's movie.

She's not royalty or the Prime Minister. She could get touched. If Bond can slip in her house unnoticed, the other dude could've easily lit her up. But, I think he wanted a long, drawn out reunion so he could get under her skin (plus, that lasts for 2 hours ) ergo the ending. It just makes the court room scene retarded as hell because if he really truly wanted to ice her like that, he could've her on any other moment where she wasn't surrounded by several British police and government officials
