There are a lot of black people out there with some messed up issues with colorism and there is this weird self hate in our community where they are constantly shytting on natural black features and dark skin.
These issues arise even in majority black environment. It's an epidemic and anyone else saying different isn't being completely truthful. I'm sure I'm not the only one growing up saw people dissing other black people because their hair isn't laid (girls obviously)and/or having extremely dark skin.

Why did y'all send her to a private school that's probably predominately rich stuck up white spoiled snobby kids.
Kids are going to be racist. I grew up in the suburbs and in elementary school the "popular" white kids wouldn't let us other kids play soccer or use the soccer nets.
The people that watch the kids outside during recess ain't do shyt when we told them.

Still the parents fault for not prepping her correctly. Also most blacks at majority cac schools gonna be c00ns and acting like their white counterparts.
Always felt like there needs to be balance. If your kid goes to an all cac school then they need to hit black summer camps or sports leagues. Nothing good comes from having your black kid around nothing but one race group whether they're black or white imo
I was checking cacs like hell when I got transferred from an all black school to a majority white in elementary school
they used to try me but realized I wasn't with the shyts. Then again I was raised to be proud of who I am and not to feel inferior around white folks. A lot of blacks feel that way around cacs; from the softest of soft to the hardest of hard. I've seen black folks let white folks talk to them all crazy and they don't know how to handle it

I lived in a predominately white and Indian suburban town and I never once hated being black, skin color or hair texture. Straight hair is overrated and parents especially mothers need to do a better job of placing that confidence in their daughters about their hair texture. Most black boys don't have qualms about their hair texture. And you should not be altering the texture of your daughters hair at such young ages.. I think people should let them decide for themselves. Personally I wouldn't allow my daughter to perm her hair or anything like that.

Because there is nothing attractive about nappy hair. A nikka go two weeks without a haircut, he wolfing or he need a line up, he need to get his shyt right. But somehow a woman think she can wear a short nappy fro and get love? Like I said she got to be exceptional looking. Me personally I never liked natural hair, but lately I like it as it's a change of pace from long weave and shyt. And also one of the coolest chicks I ever met had natural hair.
I am African-American and I live in the United States and I stand by what I said. I am not talking about the "streets" as in the dope game/illegal life, I am talking about the streets as in any black urban community. Simply by existing in public, black women are open to physical violence, rape, and assault at very high rates. It happens literally all the time but because black women aren't likely to report crimes, it isn't reflected statistically. Just because the violence inflicted on us doesn't directly resemble the violence inflicted on black men doesn't mean that it should be downplayed or ignored.
