Like just imagine waking up, mouth dry as hell n u thirsty. Yo ass want some sweet tea or some juice or something.

Water quiches the thirst, but the flavor isn't there.
you need to drop those sugary drinks asap for your own good. you are addicted to sugar. NOTHING quenches like water...

Sugary drinks were my only food vice ever and that transition was harsh but crucial. You preaching to the choir. I couldn't eat without a juice or pop before. Now when I look back it seems like madness. That shyt is not normal.

Remember everything we currently do are habits. We can change those habits forcefully if we decide to. If our habits do not serve us, we should aim to upgrade them to habits that do serve us. Dont let temporary satisfactions control our long term outcomes.

Congrats. I been on that water wave since 2013. 5 years in and I never think about drinking soda ever. I barely touch alcohol tho I will on occasion. But I eat healthy too.

This is how I do it. 6 days out of the week I will have a light breakfast/lunch. Sometimes egg whites, sometimes just special k or some other cereal with nutrients. low sugar.

Then in the late afternoon I'll have some protein supplement.

Then for dinner I'm eating mostly chicken or fish. Baked chicken, tuna, grilled fish, whatever. Greens. I might have a lil potato. When I'm watching a game I'll try not to snack too much, maybe a yogurt or granola. Sometimes I'll combine them.

On the 7th day I pretty much eat whatever I want. I still don't drink anything but water, sometimes juice but the 7th day is when I'm eating wings, ribs, cookout in the summer, going out to eat at a nice restaurant, whatever.

It's that 7th day where I cheat that keeps me so committed to the other six.

Yes, the reward system works for sure. Keeps you in check and has you looking forward to a weekly goal. I love it
