ALCOHOL IS THE MOTHER OF ALL EVILS...FOR EXAMPLE RAPES, CAR ACCIDENTS, BRAIN DAMAGE, BODY DAMAGE, MURDERS ETC.
I DON'T KNOW HOW PEOPLE DRINK ALCOHOL. I WOULD RATHER DRINK GREEN TEA CALL ME MUHAMMAD BRUCE 'ALEE!

After a few starts, here I am on day 25. I gotta say that not waking up hungover/tired (from poor sleep) is priceless. I am getting better workouts and just mentally sharp (No brain fog). My cravings for sweets went up a lot tho so I justify having a can of soda and some milk duds every now and then. Instead of spending $ on happy hours, I have been focusing on spending more on quality food and cooking at home. When I pass day 30, I may celebrate by having a shot of this bourbon I was gifted but never opened.

For anyone having a hard time, I say that the first 10 days are the hardest and just keep your distance from people you literally just drink with. I realized that there are a lot of people I did nothing other than have drinks with.

Wrestling practice from High School still has me drinking a gallon of water a day...but that's it. I still drink coffee, as its basically pre-workout, to be fair, I don't put any kind of sugar or milk in it. Plus I can't be losing that much weight. 6'1, ain't trying to be lanky.

It was hard to find 30 days where I didn’t have travel or parties to partake in this but I’m starting today and doing it the month of June.

Just completed it. I didnt really lose any weight or belly fat tho. Probably because I wasn’t living the deviant lifestyle Hot Rod was.

I’m still glad I did the challenge. There’s no downside to drinking more water. And i saved money from buying drinks. I was even in the strip club on that water life. :ahh:

Update: Completed the 30 days, Had some drinks while on vacation but this time I was much more aware of what and how much I was having vs before when I was just knocking drinks back until it was time to go. I feel great but I noticed how much alcohol is a part of my life in the sense that, I visit family/friends and I'm offered a drink 90% of the time. People ask why I 'm not ordering a drink when eating out (Bill is not so crazy when all you are paying for is food).

I spring out out bed now that my mornings aren't ruined by a hangover or an upset stomach because I just had to eat some greasy food late night. I plan to keep drinking at an absolute minimum.

Greetings brother @Slaimon Khan Shah
As a recovering alcoholic it is NOT that black & white. It is a disease and you should respect as such good sir.
DEAR BROTHER @Squirrel!

HELLO THERE! I HOPE YOU ARE DOING GREAT. I AM TALKING ABOUT LIFE IN TOTALITY NOT JUST A SPECIFIC SITUATION WHERE SOMEONE IS A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC. THINK BIG PICTURE AS REGARDS TO MY LAST POST.

SINCERELY,

SLAIMON KHAN SHAH
