I lost almost 10 pounds, but some of that is due to me working out 6 days a week and also consuming fewer calories during the day. But I also think doing this water thing helped me have the energy to wake up at 5 in the morning more often to get to the gym. I'm getting completely drunk tonight (which will probably be one drink since my tolerance had to have gone down without drinking for a month), but I'll get back on the wagon and keep my consumption for weekends and social outings. And I'll keep up my water intake of nearly a gallon as well.

I post more often in the fitness section. But well over a year ago when I decided to lose weight, i started out heavy in the gym but I didn't know how to eat until I discovered IF. I lost well over 100lbs in less than year and KEPT IT OFF. A huge part of that was drinking about a gallon of water a day and changing my eating lifestyle. I would drink Ice cold water in the AM to curve my appetite. I would piss like crazy which can be annoying when you're trying to sleep. But it helped a lot, especially in the gym because I wouldn't get tired as often.

I think just doing it to see how you feel or for a "challenge" is ok i guess but its not sustainable but it could work for obese people like who I use to be. The thing is if you stick to simply a gallon a day for like one or two weeks. And the scale goes down. You could literally eat on a binge for a day or so and gain it all back. Its sorta like keto being a "diet" and IF being a lifestyle. You have to be careful with that also you need to take vitamins because you're loosing nutrients as well.

But overall yes I have been doing this for well over a year along with IF and exercise.
