Swizz lost me a couple times with shyt like that Nas 'General' joint and that 'Big Business' which was always trash... but this kinda disproves the myth that Swizz is trash. He just has this tendency to be either super-hot or super-wack... there's no in the middle with him, lol. That said, Just must've forgotten to pull out some of the heavy hitters cause otherwise, he fukked up there. He didn't drop any wack shyt, but he kept a lot of the joints that could've smashed at home.

Big business is a classic beat, but yeah general was terrible. Swizz did better with album cuts that were BANGERS like coming of age pt 2 and kiss of deaths from Ryde or die vol 1

I enjoyed the way how Swizz was flipping Busta's Tear Da Roof Off and Kiss Who's Real. He was definitely treating this kinda like a DJ battle, and I felt that gave him the edge.

I absolutely love 98 Swizz production and his work with Busta was FIYA...That's a slept on song

Breh every single one of their colabs is forgettable. General is one of Nas worst songs ever. They don't have very good chemistry because Swizz Beatz production is very energetic and braggadocious and nas' style doesn't speak to that.

After taking a couple days of letting this digest, I gotta give it sb strictly off his overall showmanship, particularly his last shot. Peep jb face when he's realizing he has unheard shyt in his vault and he ain't bring the closer with him.

Dope "battle" and great for the culture. I hope Tim and Pharrell do one next. Also hopes it broadens out...battle of the engineers, because the cats that record and process the record don't get the credit they deserve. Plus, if the engineers ever do battle, unreleased tracks is most definitely gonna be on deck.
