"Jungle Fever" 1991 Spike Lee film starring Wesley Snipes

I kind of liked the subplot that had to do with Paulie going after Orin.

The movie didn't get into it too much, but I thought it served as a nice compliment to the dynamics of the Flipper-Angie relationship.

It seemed like Spike Lee included that to hint that there could be more to an interracial relationship than "you were curious about black, and I was curious about white," as Flipper summed up his relationship with Angie.

Another factor that was pointed out was how Flip & Angie were not only from different cultures, but different classes of people, both professionally and educationally.

lol I was young when it dropped, just remember the theme song and it being a huge deal. I didn't see the movie myself until 2015 because I was being a Spike fan but not seeing all his flicks.

Pretty good movie I need to rewatch it soon.
