i'm a real big fan of how desai is dealing with these high powered offenses. mcvay and mcdaniel are nice with the schemes and he did very well against both.

That's why I didn't care about how the overall numbers looked for the defense, regression was inevitable. No way they were gonna be on a historic sack pace or lead the league in turnovers again, none of that is sustainable.
Having answers to get some key stops against good offenses was Desai's real test. In two years the only time we didn't get rolled by a good QB with Gannon was Kirk on monday night and Lawrence in the rain, Desai already lapped him with the Rams & Dolphins gameplans.
