This defense is trash from its philosophy and scheme.

I remember in 2021 after that Raiders game and they were 2-5 They went run heavy on offense cause the defense was ass and Hurts was not consistently accurate ... to win any playoff game in 2024 they may have to do that especially with Smitty out and the fact that the defense is really ass like this... keep that atrocious defense off the field.

I called it in here last week, it's damn near the exact situation as the Bills going from Daboll --> Dorsey. 8th in total yards and tied for 5th in PPG with DET/BUF this season despite all the struggles but the bar Steichen set was so high and they're obviously not there, and the players know it, and that ultimately causes turmoil until a change is made.

It's a shame because I really don't wanna see a breh like BJ get fired, a rookie playcaller is supposed to be allowed to grow into the role, but this is just the wrong situation. Expectations are too high to still be making the same mistakes after 4 months.
