The National Media really is something else.

After the game, Seth Joyner said something yesterday about how he's done being overly critical of this Eagles team because they just win. At this point, it's not about what it looks like. And he went on a Rant about the national media not giving the Eagles their due respect, and he's tired of them trying to find excuses to discredit this run the Eagles are on.

Once again, the national shows so far are proving Seth's point. A bunch "what-if's". What if there wasn't miscommunication between Allen and his receiver? What if Allen didn't throw that pick that led to an Eagles score....what if [insert excuse here] -- the Bills would've won. Same thing they did with the Chiefs and Mahomes trash receivers; when his receivers have been ass all season. That wasn't a new development. Stephen A literally said the Chiefs should've won last week. In what world, with those receivers? No, they deserved that L for being cheap b*stards who don't value that position.

When is this going to catch up with the Eagles? A team is going to catch them at some point says Dan Orlovsky. The 49ers or the Cowboys.

Now look, the 49ers and Cowboys are formidable opponents, but they are finesse. With the 49ers being more physical with some finesse sprinkled in, especially on offense. Both teams are built to play with a lead -- but they aren't really battle-tested in my opinion - FRONT RUNNERS. As it concerns both teams, if they don't Punch the Eagles in the mouth on sight and let them hang around, it's a done deal for them. We literally witnessed this in the first Cowboys matchup.

One thing no one seems to point out is that the difference between the Eagles and the other top NFC teams (and the rest of the NFL in general) is that they ARE NOT MAKING MISTAKES IN THE CLUTCH, and that's a huge credit to Jalen Hurts and some of the monsters on the DLine.

You cannot flinch against the Eagles & in my opinion, it's hard to see what either team (49ers/Cowboys) has done this season to garner this much confidence in the National media.... It's hard for me to bet against the Eagles right now, and I'm not saying they couldn't drop 1 of the next 2 games, but it's pathetic how the media is just waiting for their downfall, but I guess that comes with the territory when you're running shyt.

END RANT.

Also Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, Milton Williams and Marlon Tuipulotu is crazy young depth and we still havent seen Ojomo

Our DL and edge rushers played too many snaps on Sun

We need to get Nolan Smith more snaps...we need to get him 30-40 snaps a game for the rest of the season

We gotta play Jalen Carter at DE to buy us some rest for Sweat & BG

Hope Cox and dare I say Cunningham are ready 2 go on Sun...Christian Elliss was azz out there on Sun, a step late on everything

first clinching scenario

Can the Eagles clinch a playoff berth with a win over the 49ers?

It's possible that the Eagles can clinch as soon as this Sunday when they host the San Francisco 49ers (8-3) in a rematch of last season's NFC Championship game, which the Eagles won 31-7, sending the Eagles to the Super Bowl.

But they would need help. A win over San Francisco would give the Eagles an 11-1 record. In order to clinch outright, the Saints would have to lose to the Lions (8-3), the Packers would have to lose to the Chiefs (8-3) and the Rams would have to lose to the Browns (7-4).

If one of those three teams should win, along with the Eagles, then it would come down to tiebreakers.

What's the tiebreaker situation for next week?

The Eagles beat the Rams 23-14 on Oct. 8, so they would have the head-to-head tiebreaker should the two teams end the season in a tie.

The Eagles don't play the Saints or Packers this season. The next tiebreaker would be head-to-head competition between common opponents. It's hard to see the Eagles losing that since their only loss was to the Jets in the AFC while none of the other three teams played them.

But if the Eagles were to keep losing, they only have NFC teams left on their schedule, so those losses will be costlier. It's too soon to predict tiebreakers with the Saints or Packers.

If the Eagles win the next two games − they play at Dallas on Dec. 10, they'll clinch if the other three teams each lose one game by then.

That really was some LOB era Russ brilliance :heh:

Which is funny because I was thinking about how this current run mirrors theirs, except we're on track to do it in reverse order. They won their SB, then got back and suffered the heartbreak loss against a legendary QB. We took the L first and are trying to finish the job on the second trip. Spooky :wow:

for the MFs that crying about the "horse collar tackle" shyt wasnt even close.

:dead:

That was more of a roughing the passer than a horse collar

the NFL's horse-collar tackle rule states that players are not allowed to "grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground" to make a tackle

It looked like Redikk forceably threw or swung him to the ground and didn't do the drag down.

Definitely could ve warranted that unnecessary roughness or roughing the passer but Josh Allen a big motherfukker ..... pause.. only way u can sack that guy .... pause again
