I forgot how "blessed" it is to wake up in the morning with no aches and pains (other than working out), no high cholesterol, high blood pressure.

This last year plus has been :ohlawd: with change and now I'm basically chasing asthetics :wow:. This time next year :noah:

For give the old man rant.

Like 30-40 :smugfavre:

5/30
Clearly I have been neglecting the back since I've been lifting. Made a couple of changes to make that a primary lifting day, pretty sore right now.

Strength and conditioning class tonight. I'm going to hit a set of squats afterwards:lupe:

Switched to a long run on Sundays last week. Sprints are beneficial even for distance especially when you incorporate hills into it.

The distance isn't a factor. I can make that easy enough. The goal is to be faster this year.

I hadn't look through the logs but I only do speed work once every 10 days and this is coming from a 1:19 HM guy. Most of my runs are long and slow. Couple of tempos thrown in during the week.

It's good for him since he's probably starting off but whatever your "race" pace is add a minute/half to it and put in the mileage. Most of my runs are at a 7 minute mile pace. Running "hard" everyday isn't ideal. In general the body only has 3 "hard" races a year.

6/2/13
Fasted
4.04 miles (according to map my run)
34.20

Felt pretty strong until the 3 mile mark which is after a long hill. Feel good about the time. I know its not 100% accurate between the site and trying to time it on my iPod but the range isn't bad for 1 month out.

I don't feel like eating right now and I get to eat at maintenance today :lolbron:

I'd love to run a half marathon in 1:30 some day. Mind going into a little more detail about your training?

U running everyday?

U got me by 10 minutes. I ran 4 yesterday and it took 44 and some change. Shocking, cause when I left the house yesterday 4 miles wasn't the plan but I just felt good.

I gotta start updating my run log again.
