5 sets of 225 meter "sprints" (2 per set, 1 sprint followed by 30 second rest, 25 body weight squats, repeat)

Just trying to keep blood flowing more than anything today. Good lift session last night for upper body.

I haven't stepped on a scale in a few weeks and I'm not obsessively counting cals. Just trying to put in the work.

I hear you and generally speaking clean/dirty doesn't really matter. I actually don't like "dirty food" much anymore, the taste for it is basically gone for me.

:whoa:, dessert is another matter. I have to get under control so my punishment must be more severe

I think I'm back. The cravings have diminished. Went to dinner Friday night with friends and they ordered the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever seen in a restaurant:

I think the end of the month is all I can afford (1 meal) and then right back on it. I figure I have several months to finally work off the gut.

Stamina seems to be improving. The first .5 miles of my usual route is enough to make me quit. It has a slight incline and my body isn't warm yet. I pushed through it better than I can remember in a while.

Hopefully an earlier start time if I get it will help.

I kind of like working out in the heat. The type of heat where you step out the door and start sweating. Then not having to worry about my hair is an added benefit.

:salute: on committing to this though. I enjoy reading your workout mini-logs.

I ran a 13 mile race a couple years ago, and I made the mistake of picking a time I could get easily, the only problem is I ran into a lot of walkers had to keep dodging them and inevitably ended up stressing my groin, had to stop a couple times to stretch it to get it loose enough to run more. after the race I had to walk up stairs sideways cause I could barely lift my leg

Yep, that was my biggest complaint last year. i swear I ran sideways more than forward :beli:

Upper Body Work scheduled for tonight

Semi-struggling on the nutrition front. The plan was to stay on track with one cheat meal a month but I'm leaning away from that. The one month thing isn't difficult but I feel like the cheat meal will turn into this epic binge that is going to be a bad situation. My will power just has odd applications.

Got some good work done last night:

Pushed through a Flat Bench pyramid set I couldn't complete last Friday
Did the most dips I've ever done

Scrapping having one "cheat meal" a month, well the end of this month doesn't count :lolbron:, the setbacks won't be worth it. I'm going to have to exert some will power and really make a decent serving fit macros.
