Understood but was they glorifying it?

I thought that’s what the discussion was about

I was a cash money fan in the late nineties and I don’t remember them rapping about using dope

The very first song Birdman ever made

He paid UNLV and BG in heroin allegedly

I know I have a purpose, but I don't see the purpose
They tell me the death of me gon' be the percys
I know they laced pills, I bought them on purpose
Life's unreal when death's uncertain
It's funny how the blessed ones had the most curses
Heart falling to the floor if we lose another person
Take three more, I swear it's worth it
But it ain't no world tour if I'm laying in a hearse

He spoke it into existence

This nikka promoting his album:mjlol:

No bruh:mjlol:

I went back to delete my reply, but it got deleted. I'm sorry.

I also got a warning and docked points. I accept that I was wrong.

I am against opiates and want hip hop to be hard drugs free.

R.i.p and my condolences to his family.

When you say anymore, when did he stop?

After Super Slimey. Last project he did while sipping. You can hear the syrup in his vocals on "Group Home" off that cd.

All his music post 2017 though is pill/weed only

The worst part is weed is legal or on the verge of being legal, too. Stick to that as your drug to rap about
as weed gets more normalized (legal) i'm starting to wonder if part of the appeal to some was its illegality. because as soon as weed gets more accessible and you don't have to worry about the law, the exact demographic that would have been rapping about weed use are now using hard drugs and shyt. when i was coming up the rappers we listened to were the dealers of hard drugs, now the big rappers are the users of hard drugs.

RIP to this troubled young man.
