It doesn't matter where it happened.
A kid falling asleep isn't always a form of disrespect. Someone who isn't part of a trial would simply be asked to leave.
The reason people think you and that judge look crazy is because most rational people don't automatically assume a kid falling asleep is an intentional form of disrespect. Most people would assume a kid is exhausted if they couldn't stay awake.
An irrational person would think they fell asleep on purpose, just to be disrespectful.

Be thankful you come from a household with structure and security and a place to sleep comfortably. Every kid doesn't have that luxury. Show some empathy.

This is apart of judge culture to be tough and "no nonsense". I wouldnt have a problem being a cool judge,but then still sending you straight to jail if you deserve it. Why do you need to be an a$$hole,when the sentences you hand out ultimately decide how no nonsense you are.
The other question is why didnt the adult guardians on the trip interveen on her behalf. I wouldve just left with the child. Well anyway,this here is a lawsuit easily worth 1.6 million. And you got the stupid ass judge thinking they will accept his mentorship and get in the way of that. Hell no,traumatized it is

I've been homeless twice. First time house burned down. Second time Hurricane Katrina. I grew up poor as fukk. None of that shyt is an excuse to be disrespectful and lack manners.
