She didnt get reprimanded for sleeping but for lack of respect. I invite you into my house and you put your feet on my table. I ask you not to do it and you proceed to do it again. Im entitled to feel disrespected and to handle that in any way I please. Yes I could go too far but it wouldnt have happened if you respected me and my house when i asked you too. Just like this judge who went too far and committed false imprisonment over some some kid falling asleep. He's the one who should be in cuffs facing actual charges.

Im not defending his behavior. Its the people excusing her for sleeping in a fukking courtroom. He asked her not to do it again and even said he will send her out. She got disrespectful which is why he put her in the cuffs. Even on ig, there are students that was there saying the girl was being more disrespectful than what was shown.
Apparently people are say this girl and her mother are currently homeless, so she probably isn't getting the proper amount of sleep a kid should get. You keep acting like her falling asleep was some intentional form of disrespect that needed a harsh punishment.
A kid falling asleep isn't a big deal.

Also, why didn't her defense attorney (public pretender) speak up for her? I get that it was a last minute case assignment, but he was within his reasonable legal threshold to call the judge out. There was some editing, but it certainly didn't appear that the attorney did very little.
