Did you make a coherent point somewhere that I missed that would warrant me having a feeling about your post?

Pretty sure I’m not the one playing the mad guy role here.
This has nothing to do with keeping Harriet off from being on currency in the first place. NO ONE said that HT should NOT be on the currency. This has everything to do with WHITE PEOPLE elevating a bw that keeps this perception of bw being the leaders and backbone of the black community and black history while neglecting the men.

Lol. The men on this forum want it all for themselves. MLK has a holiday dedicated to him, countless streets and buildings named after him....what black woman has that??

But isn't that how white folks also operate? Ain't every monument in Washington and every holiday named after white man? What white woman is on any U.S. currency? What white woman got holidays named after her? What white woman has done anything of significance in American history outside of the women's rights movement?

Our point is that every other race is male dominated with the women in the background. But the only race everybody (especially whites) wanna put women at the forefront of is the black race. I wonder why?

I'm not trying be sexist. I would love if women of all races were on money, had holidays named after them, and monuments built for them. But I know an agenda when I see it. And its clear as day that black women are being promoted vis-a-vis black men as a means to emasculate black men and subvert black people as a whole. If we're the only race with women leading us, where do you think that will take us compared to other races?

Do you believe any other race, under any circumstance, what put one of their women on their currency before one of their men, who fight and die in wars.

This is the point they are trying to ignore. We love Harriet Tubman. This ain't about her. Its about the fact that no black man was considered more worthy when everyone else on the currency is a white man.

So white women aren't good enough for the white man to be on their currency but a black woman is more worthy THAN ANY BLACK MAN?

If you can't see there's an agenda here I can't help you.

Harriet Tubman is not more significant than Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King Jr., or Malcolm X. What's being argued here is valid. Why is it that with every other race men are portrayed as the leaders but with black people now we suddenly are being led by women?

Everyone knows that men should lead the way. If women are leading your group, then you're headed nowhere. This is nothing more than a white agenda to make sure black people always stay second class and never rise up. They know they have to keep black men down to keep us down as a collective. If the men in your race are not even capable of leading their women then how can they lead in anything else.

I'm all for Harriet Tubman on a bill after we get about 2-3 black men on there first.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths

that has nothing to do with this topic, the point is I see people mentioning King, like he was handpicked by these cacs

he wasnt it took a fight to get him in. I live in the state that was the last one to accept his national holiday. and it was a struggle to get it in.

Unless I am mistaken that wasnt the case with Harriet, they just chose her.

I didn't. It's not "insulting to the black race to put Harriet tubman on the 20 dollar bill" nor do I think that it means "black men aren't worth a damn" for it. Those were judge joe's words, were they not?
He said he had no issues with Harriet being on currency AS LONG AS A BLACK MAN IS ON THEIR FIRST. That was the point he was trying to make. That what he was arguing to Dr. Umar.

While he is wrong, he is right. Most Islands and other black nations will spill blood if their men were treated like this but if you got someone like Queen Nzinga or Harriet Tubman. Those women defy race and gender.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?????????????

Feminism was created when black men got the right to vote before white women.

When was that.

White women started voting in late 1910s, blacks weren't voting heavily with discrimination until 1960s

Is he talking about the Burkle Estate in Memphis?

It was a White German dude but he did help free 5X more slaves than Harriet Tubman. :yeshrug:

LOL and this is what people don't agree with. It's a trash perspective, I'm sorry. You shouldn't have a problem with any black person, regardless of gender being memorialized in whatever fashion, if you're supposedly pro-black.
