JUST GET RID OF THE 3
OR EXTEND THE LINE
AND GET RID OF THE CORNER 3.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE
A GIMMICK SHOT
NOT THE FOCAL PT OF THE GAME

Ain't it funny how you were the biggest detractor of the 3-pt shot 10 years ago, saying that it was just a brief phase that would pass and that teams like the Warriors wouldn't have any success, and here you are a whole decade later forced to eat crow, so much so that you won't even watch the NBA anymore.

:wow:

they had choked away the lead by then. They were up with 3 minutes to go. Young bad teams get desperate. The fact that Keon Johnson was even out there, let alone being in the corner to shoot that was a mistake on Jordi.

I'll say this though: Keon Johnson is a 30% 3pt shooter and a 36% FG shooter. Why he has a green light from anywhere that isn't a dunk is a problem. He's never shot well from 3 in his life. He's just a pogo stick at this point. Once Bogdanovic is ready, he might be in that position and then the play call is way more defensible.
Everyone has a green light in todays NBA,

The concept of passing up a good shot for a great shot doesn’t exist anymore

What do you mean now it's a problem?

These cats are the same ones who criticized the Warriors in the first place, saying that their style of play was just a fad and it would pass. 10 years later and now they're picking up their ball and heading back to the crib.

I would say they should be rallying around the team that shoots the least amount of 3s

But that’s also the team led by the fat Eurocac so the Coli don’t want that either :troll:

What does this have to do with my point?

If you're acknowleding you saw the Spurs shoot the Heat out the gym in 2014, what was your excuse for thinking the 3-pt shot and the Warriors style of play was just a fad that would pass? Clearly it had already been trending in that direction. Why is it you have such an issue with the league maximizing their chances of winning, which the production, efficiency and spacing from the 3-pt shot allows teams to do? Isn't the whole point to win the game? Why would the league go back to a style of play that was less conducive to winning?

The only argument y'all have is that it hurts your feelings.

That's quite literally it.

THE WARRIORS WON ONE CHIP
AGAINST A DEPLETED FIELD
WITH THEIR STYLE
THEN ADDED A MID RANGE ASSASSIN
IN KEVIN DURANT.

THIS shyt WE'RE SEEING IN
2DAYS NBA ISNT EVEN THE WARRIORS STYLE, ITS DIANTONI

Exactly why I don't watch the games that much now. Tired of these robot trained, three pointing shooting, build a bear azz NBA players. No individualism or uniqueness in the game today. They all play the same. Bring back the real hoopers who honed their skills at the boys n girls clubs, and playgrounds.

How do you think they play in these places

Of course the biggest hoe on this site, the Teanna Trump for the nerds, is quoting me in another thread, yet again

Dude hates the game of basketball, but he'll follow anything that'd make him appear smart and cool
Still waiting for your MAGA ass to explain how following today's NBA means you hate basketball?

The amount of juelzing in this thread to make Jrue taking 17 3s seem like a good thing :picard:
It's not a good/bad thing. It's just a natural occurence in hoops - role player has a game where he attempts an outlier of shots. As it's been pointed out in here, Memphis forced Jrue to beat them, rather than have the likes of Tatum shoot. Jrue was open on the vast majority of these shots, and Boston encourages their players to shoot if they're open.

Would this thread have been made if he took 17 midrange attempts instead? If your answer is no, what does that tell you?
