Nevermind that the Celtics had one of the most statistically dominant regular seasons of all-time, then went 16-3 in the playoffs and are 19-5 so far this season with their top 6 having played one game together or that they were 6-0 this season when shooting below 33% from 3 prior to last night....let's completely abandon their style of play because they lost a December game to Memphis and because Bulls & 76ers fans don't think it's fun to watch

Maybe there needs to be a set amount of threes counted per game. By only allowing a certain number of three point shots counted you reduce the over usage and provide interesting scenarios within the game.
So for example, teams are allowed 20 threes a game. One team makes their 20 while the other team makes a fraction. Other team gets hot from three and allows for a comeback while the other team has to hold them off with defense and smart baskets in the mid range and post area. Crazy idea but maybe it just might work
