Yes, because the Grizzlies entire game plan defensively was to leave Jrue wide open and use his man to roam and send hard doubles at Tatum/Brown

It was a great plan, they gambled on Jrue to make them pay and he didn’t, and they were able to disrupt the Celtics rhythm in the process. Was one of the uglier, sloppier nights offensively we had all season

He shot that many 3s because the Grizzlies were leaving him wide open, they basically did the same thing Kerr tried to do last year with Jaylen but it actually worked this time

I’m pretty sure majority of those shots were wide open corner 3s, he just didn’t make them pay for it and it’s why the Grizzlies jumped out to a double digit lead in the 1st half and his 4th quarter minutes got cut for Pritchard

They did, like 80% of those 3s from Jrue came in the 1st half.




They lost that one game to the Heat last season because the Heat literally had the greatest shooting night in the history of their franchise, it was a complete fluke game, hence why they got blown out in the other four

But by all means, please feel free to act like that game was a trend not an exception

yeah, Heat were never in the series....lol And the Celts didn't lose many games in the playoffs at all
