Suikoden 3 was my favorite out of the series. Three protagonists, three different perspectives, no mute protagonist, compelling villain. I know everyone prefers Suikoden 2 but 3 was better imo.

S3 was epic for me as well, mainly because Geddoe isn't the silent protagonist people were expecting when they saw his face....he's actually quite amicable. I still think Rockstar stole the 3 main character perspective thing from Konami, but they made it epic to be fair. Either way, for me S3 was the pinnacle, S4 was a waste of time and 5 was too androgynous for its own good. The prince wasn't likeable and came off like a cross between Raiden from MGS and the first hero from Suikoden 1
