Why aren't the Republicans being held accountable for the policies that created all these problems you dumb nukkas claim to care about? :unimpressed:
Because my community and I have whored our votes to Democrats at a clip of 85% for the last 50 years. Republicans don’t owe me much, but the politicians that myself, my parents and grandparents have supported owe me something other than lip service and apologies. Tangibles, legislative policy specific for ados is what we are looking for

There are 3 local politicians and 2 judges in Cincinnati I support financially and at the ballot box; because their agendas and past actions align with my beliefs.....wish there were more
Don't dance. Name names so we can learn who is out here championing the cause

Name 3 candidates you voted for locally and 1 nationally that support the ados agenda
I think this is a disingenuous question as the ados movement has only been mainstream for a few years. Tanaya Denard, Cincinnati council person, Jody Luebers judge in Cincinnati. I also support 2 black Cincinnati council persons Chris Smitherson and Jeff Pastor who I communicate with regularly-not about ados specifically, but about my (black) community issues

How does “about ADOS” work when talking to Jeff Pastor? What policies is he looking to advance or have created?

I vote dem in every election
I thought about not voting if Biden became the nominee until I read a book on Jim Crow and realized how racist the ppl were back then who Black ppl had to support to get anywhere

I can still see this anti everything ADOS is some bullshyt
It’s so confusing too...ppl gain nothing from
You can admit ADOS are their own ppl and still keep your spot

its like Black ppl have so much power and don’t even realize it...but other ppl do and don’t want us to use it
But this ain’t Jim Crow. We are supposed to grow and have candidates that better serve our needs as time passes. I understand your point, and respect the sacrifices of my ancestors. I just think it’s time for democratic accountability

Again, you're strawmanning. We're not talking about reparations, we're talking about ADOS. Your Haiti analogy is inaccurate. A more accurate one would be an American moving to Haiti and speaking ill of a populist Haitian political movement that was bankrolled and supported by European powers using it as a propaganda tool used to continue to fukk over Haiti cloaked in nativist, xenophobic rhetoric. That indeed would be goofy shyt...just like ADOS.

Call out a strawman with a strawman argument brehs

The ADOS movement does not promote xenophobia. The title is simply used to put forward a justice claim.

Tell me, how do black people who have a specific historical tie to this nation distinguish themselves as a group without the ADOS label?

You funny style nikkas keep lying?

How does ADOS demanding Reparations and a Black Agenda for our votes equal to white supremacist psy-op?

Is Prof William Darity a right wing fascist?

William Darity on Reparations and Campaign 2020 | C-SPAN.org

How reparations for American descendants of slavery could narrow the racial wealth divide
Opinion | What reparations for America's slave descendants might realistically look like

How about Dr. Kevin Cosby, the President of Simmons College?
Kevin W Cosby (@KWCosby) on Twitter
Geez...is there any ADOS poster here who doesn't do this ADOS = reparations strawmanning? It seems y'all think the washed up WNBA player looking bytch on youtube invented the idea of reparations.

Anyway, ADOS is a psy-op because it's funded and propagated by a network of white supremacists run by John Tanton....an actual real life white supremacist, not the coli definition of white supremacist, who has a network fo front groups implicitly designed to suppress the black vote, and/or get black voters to vote Republican and get white supremacist policies such as voter suppression, elimination of any race-specific policies or legislation (reparations would fall under that umbrella obviously), civil rights rollback, racial gerrymandering, packing the courts with right wing judges, etc. through the advent of xenophobic, nativist propaganda messaging.

Yvette Carnell is a member of the board of PFIR. Another Tanton think tank is FAIR, and Jesse Lee Peterson is a member of their front group Choose Black America. These are the people you're aligning yourself with. You're not getting reparations. Just more white supremacists in elected office and the courts. Those are your "tangibles." Smarten up.

You're just projecting in the bold because that's what most of you ados cats are guilty of.

"fukk the dems because they just talk us to death without actually giving us anything. Cut the check or we ain't voting". That's not a logical well thought out strategic response, that's pure emotion. So is this idea that black American descendants of slaves need to be their own ethnic group all of a sudden. That's an emotional response to the perception that most foreign blacks are ultimately anti blacks native to America. That's my issue with ados, it's emotional trolling.

If I'm wrong, then what's the ados strategy for getting tangibles? So we don't vote for the dems if they don't promise us reparations, they lose to the trump and the republicans.........and then what? Do y'all expect that if the dems lose with the black vote turnout lower than avg, that they'll come running back to us and promise us reparations in order to get us to vote again? I'm seriously asking for the details of this "no tangibles no vote" strategy?
I never said

1-“ Cut the check or I ain’t voting”

or

2- “ADOS are their own ethnic group”

So you quoted the wrong person.

ADOS is a trigger word to y’all. So let me just speak on Black American’s

Black Americans would be wise to demand a specific Black agenda from any candidate they put their support behind. Every other group does. It’s not as radical or outlandish as some of y’all are framing it.

To me the push back is bewildering..

What is your purpose for voting?

You know Jeff? I just talked to him this week at a community forum, about financial literacy in minority communities. We are similar in age and I’ve known his family since junior high. I like him....even though he is a black republican. Like another poster said...I treat politics a-la-cart

Thank you. You're making quite a case for why ADOS is insipid, woefully inept rubbish. Emancipation was given by Lincoln...not Jefferson Davis.

Civil rights legislation was passed by Johnson, not Goldwater.

You pressure and appeal to the side of the political spectrum that is more likely to support and enact your cause, as abolitionists did with Lincoln and civil rights activist did with Johnson. Not rocket science, my dude.

The proper question to ask here is name one major political advancement that was ever made by black folks in the country that required the cooperation of the most white supremacist side of the political spectrum, as opposed to the side more empathetic toward black human rights.

Did the Confederacy fund and enact abolition? Did the political right; the former Dixiecrats and Republicans of the 60's enact civil rights?

That's why ADOS is stupid as fukk. Yall act like Mitch McConnell and Trump rally attendees can be coaxed into enacting reparations.

Your problem is you actually think you're going to get tangible results by tacitly sucking right white fascist dikk, the LEAST sympathetic element toward reparations in the country, and saying fukk everyone else, including potentially allies, and that is astronomically idiotic.

It's the equivalent of an ultra anti-abortion group that wants to ban all abortions even in the case of rape and incest, saying the Republicans won't do it and they take their vote for granted, so they're going to court Democrats and/or not vote. In other words, it's stupid and makes not one iota of practical sense.

You sassy boy, you sassy.

You just accused a real nikka of sucking dikk.

We don’t share the same values.
