You're just projecting in the bold because that's what most of you ados cats are guilty of.

"fukk the dems because they just talk us to death without actually giving us anything. Cut the check or we ain't voting". That's not a logical well thought out strategic response, that's pure emotion. So is this idea that black American descendants of slaves need to be their own ethnic group all of a sudden. That's an emotional response to the perception that most foreign blacks are ultimately anti blacks native to America. That's my issue with ados, it's emotional trolling.

If I'm wrong, then what's the ados strategy for getting tangibles? So we don't vote for the dems if they don't promise us reparations, they lose to the trump and the republicans.........and then what? Do y'all expect that if the dems lose with the black vote turnout lower than avg, that they'll come running back to us and promise us reparations in order to get us to vote again? I'm seriously asking for the details of this "no tangibles no vote" strategy?

ADOS seems to be a group for those who are passionate about topical black issues but are low information folks when it comes to the political process and its relationship to black folks

This tweet comes to mind

Who said I wasn’t voting? I’ve voted in all local and national elections since I was 18. But I only vote for candidates I support. You won’t earn my vote by telling me how bad the other guy is.....if I think you’re a bad candidate as well
Name 3 candidates you voted for locally and 1 nationally that support the ados agenda

So you concede your policy is aligned with the GOP's immigration platform?
I concede that the GOP’s platform on immigration makes way more sense to me than the Democratic one.

I also feel the same way about their policy on guns and taxes.

There are also a half a dozen policies that the Democrats have that I’m more aligned with.

See I treat politics like an a la cart menu. While most of y’all treat it like Ohio St. vs Michigan

Now you gonna answer my question on how illegal immigration helps Black Americans?

I expect that from them though, they’re easy to deal with, what im referring to is our supposed allies systematically fukking us over

Care to talk about that? :coffee:
fukk expectations. They are hand over fist doing things that are outright impacting your future, meanwhile your angst is against feckless dems.

:mjlol:

Nothing about you tells me you cared enough to even bother reading about what they are now doing

Our emancipation was partly given to us by white supremacist (Lincoln)

The Civil Rights act was partly given to us by white supremacist (Johnson)

Thank you. You're making quite a case for why ADOS is insipid, woefully inept rubbish. Emancipation was given by Lincoln...not Jefferson Davis.

Civil rights legislation was passed by Johnson, not Goldwater.

You pressure and appeal to the side of the political spectrum that is more likely to support and enact your cause, as abolitionists did with Lincoln and civil rights activist did with Johnson. Not rocket science, my dude.

Name one major political advancement that was ever made by Black folks in this country without the cooperation of white supremacist?

The proper question to ask here is name one major political advancement that was ever made by black folks in the country that required the cooperation of the most white supremacist side of the political spectrum, as opposed to the side more empathetic toward black human rights.

Did the Confederacy fund and enact abolition? Did the political right; the former Dixiecrats and Republicans of the 60's enact civil rights?

That's why ADOS is stupid as fukk. Yall act like Mitch McConnell and Trump rally attendees can be coaxed into enacting reparations.

The problem is some of y’all just really want white people to love you, rather than getting tangible results. The moment you realize that nobody loves you, you can take feelings and emotions out of politics and just focus on policy and results.

You know how many homophobes supported marriage equality? Plenty. (Obama is one of them) Because political influence isn’t about feelings. It’s about leverage and negotiation.
Your problem is you actually think you're going to get tangible results by tacitly sucking right white fascist dikk, the LEAST sympathetic element toward reparations in the country, and saying fukk everyone else, including potentially allies, and that is astronomically idiotic.

It's the equivalent of an ultra anti-abortion group that wants to ban all abortions even in the case of rape and incest, saying the Republicans won't do it and they take their vote for granted, so they're going to court Democrats and/or not vote. In other words, it's stupid and makes not one iota of practical sense.

If you're politically savvy and together, it causes political parties to seek you out to win future elections. The bolded is key to that though.

Can you flesh out what “politically savvy and together” means? That’s awfully bumper sticker.

I vote dem in every election
I thought about not voting if Biden became the nominee until I read a book on Jim Crow and realized how racist the ppl were back then who Black ppl had to support to get anywhere

I can still see this anti everything ADOS is some bullshyt
It’s so confusing too...ppl gain nothing from
You can admit ADOS are their own ppl and still keep your spot

its like Black ppl have so much power and don’t even realize it...but other ppl do and don’t want us to use it

These very things directly conflict with your so called agenda. Don't tell me about a black agenda while supporting the white supremist policies that literally are wrecking havoc on black people.

Thanks for playing. Have a good night everyone

This isn't a real response tho bruh.

What percentage of eligible black voters would you say are down with this "no tangibles no vote" threat?

i'd love to see reparations for black folks happen. maybe one day that will be a reality in some form, but it's a longer road than the 2020 election. a lot of people also think the president will be the deciding factor and they couldn't be more wrong. should be thinking about your senate and house reps, you know, the people who actually write legislation.

anyway...i cant help but smh at the thought of conservative rethugs and their racist base pointing and laughing at their success sowing discord among black folks and other minorities. they know they have this locked and can keep implementing even more of their agenda while we're at each others necks. they on the sidelines like...
