you aint gotta read stephen kings novels on which many of famous ass movies like green mile, the shining or shawshank redemption were based to appreciate how good or bad they are
best movies based on books and comics make you want to read the book and comics if you havent already

i love tearing down favorites (i think kevin smith is completely trash, i think nolan is slightly overrated, i dont really give a fukk about star wars, etc.) but i thought avengers was very good and cabin in the woods kept me surprised to the very end. i havent seen much else of his work, but the man seems very talented. his rating seems accurate

Yup. When I saw Cabin in the Woods, I was literally sitting there thinking "How is everyone else here dying laughing, obviously enjoying this movie" when I was sitting there like..
. Then, when the lights came up and I looked around at who was in the theater with me I noticed hipster looking dudes and as I eavesdropped some of their convos I was made aware I was in a theater of Whedon heads.

Kevin smith first five movies are classics but the whole "why be a productive person where u can just get high and bullshyt your life away" movies are getting too corny
