The marketing strategy for Creed was them playing footsie during the whole promo run
And they said they wanted to collab in the future like Robert deniro and al Pacino
He going to have to move a little differently than that
Nah I'd say its Majors who has to move differently if he wants to keep his shıt intact. It ain't like they're some world renowned comedy team like Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin or Abbott & Costello, duos who purposely built a brand together and became synonymous with each other to the general public.
Also just want to add that the De Niro & Pacino is not exactly the collaboration team to aspire to. They've been in 4 movies together: Godfather 2 (1974), Heat (1995), Righteous Murder (2008), & The Irishman (2019). Four movies spanning 45 years (and only 2 when both were in their prime) doesn't attach you to anyone's hip.
Business partners come and go every day and no one would have an issue with the part of the equation that's living right bushing the part that's becoming a liability, especially if he gains the "woman beater" label. They're business partners, not brothers or cousins. Besides, there's an entire pool of young actors (known and unkown) that Jordan can pair up with that can do exactly what Majors can. Every actor is replaceable (they don't have a skill as rare as a franchise NFL QB - now they are an example of people with a skillset so rare you sometimes can't replace them easily).
If shıt gets too thick for Majors, MBJ can (and will) give him that Jay Z to Freeway treatment (see spoiler) to preserve his own career. Long term, MBJ doesn't have much to lose because Johnathan Majors allegedly showed the world his true colors.
