For me, it’s 2 things:

1. First thing first, I never seen a Grisham match until AEW bought ROH so I don’t really have a background on prior storylines outside of what the commentators say about him. He’s a great wrestler, but outside the ring he’s average. With his height, he has to have an extra charisma, be exciting to the casuals, or have a great manager like Heyman to hype him up. He reminded me of a Dean Malenko. Great wrestler, but just missing something. The heel turn was a great start in addressing this. If he was white, he would be Josh Alexander in Impact or Ciampa, pre heel-turn in NXT, especially Alexander. Josh is good, but the heels always Carrie’s his feuds, especially Moose.

2. With that said, TK did do him dirty. Never mentioned him on tv or have him appear on tv until this past month. Brushed him off. After Supercard of Honor. The man goes to Impact and is doing his thing over there and then gets pulled off a ppv at the last minute by AEW and doesn’t really have anything to do in AEW/ROH for another month or two. Everything Grisham said about TK was valid. The worst part is the match on Saturday. I have no issues with Claudio winning. However, Im willing to bet that that was probably one of the shorted title bouts in ROH history. He also lost in the opening match which gave me the impression that he was jobbing out the company. Reminded me when Taz jobbed out of his final title match when he got destroyed in a triple threat with anime Awesome and someone else. Gave me vibes of, “good luck in your future endeavors “

#3. As a bonus, TK still owes Swole an apology

I wanna see if Tony is capable of creating his own characters from the ground up. Like there was Mark Calloway, and then Vince wanted Taker. Heyman could do it.

Gresham is Gresham, could Tony make him something larger than life?

Also,

Wild that 40% of this shirt that came out 5 days ago is already not with the company.

Thinking on it im betting it really doesn’t have anything to do with dropping the belt to Cesaro.

TK made dude turn heel out of nowhere 2-3 weeks ago after being the ROH underdog babyface who overcame everything in his way the past few years to reach the top.

Probably was pitched a great angle and told that TBE would be a big part of the new ROH only to show up at the ppv the day of and is now told that instead he’s going to be a part of Prince Nana’s bum ass embassy because he bought out TBE :what:

I saw Prince Nana out there ringside and honestly had zero fukking idea as to WHY he was out there and had no idea the TBE shyt was over until I read the stories Sunday :snoop:

The Embassy and Prince Nana have ALWAYS been trash to me and if I was JG I wouldn’t want shyt to do with it either :yeshrug:

Sounds like they need a EVP of Talent Relations. If they have one already, then they’re doing a shytty job at it. If they don’t, then they need to get one ASAP as it’s crazy that Khan is wearing all the hats in the organization essentially.
Khan's communication failures are going to end up causing issues for him with a wrestler at a certain level that fans won't be as quick to turn on and that will probably be the only thing that makes him realize being a control freak is not how to successfully run a company in the long term.

Dude should've already had the guy ready and waiting who he wanted to run ROH before he even bought the company.

IN AEW he needs to delegate while giving authority to those people. There should be people in charge of the women's division, tag division and midcard while Khan runs the main event scene since he wants to continue to vie for Booker of the Year awards from Meltzer.

It’s going to be Kenny Omega, but it should have been Cody Rhodes

Kenny is going to make that jump to WWE and it’s going to be the unforgivable sin for Khan

Breh, you could tell when Cody had his hands on something in the Dub. It just hit different. Even when he was on some MAGACAC shyt, it just felt like a spectacle, rather than HERES A fukkING MATCH WITHOUT A PLOT BECAUSE WRESTLING!

I thought that was Christopher Daniels's job, but I might be wrong.

Think Cody really found his niche with Community Outreach and wanted to continue that without having to turn heel.

As far as Kenny goes, he's going to need to tone down his moves or else he won't get to the point where a jump is an option. Given the laundry list of injuries he was recovering from + having to deal with vertigo for years, needs to get healthy first and foremost.

You left out the part where his self-indulging promos made him stale and in need of some sort of change, whether it be a tweener or full heel turn. Dude literally set himself on fire to try to get over as a face. That's why it was a spectacle.
