That shyt was cathartic. Vince is a big piece of shyt. Tired of seeing iconic wrestlers get the short end of the stick. You know you suck when you make the NFL look good in comparison. The Rock has to be one of the few who has transcended and is going to be good for life.
That part of roddy piper explaining why he was still wrestling and saying he's gonna die at age 65 then he ends up dying at age 61

here comes the people that will

like they aren't the ones that want the wrestlers to kill themselves for little more than props from crowds of cave cacs :laff:

The only thing thats off is that it makes it seem like all wrestlers dropping like this. The guys from 70s-2000s were a problem. I dont blame vince for that. Vince is a workaholic, if they needed drugs and were working when they shouldnt be that aint on vince. You lose ya spot in All sports when your hurt. Reality of the bi. Union or not... players cut everyday and not paid.

These new guys wont die young like those guys did. They have made improvements. But yea the wrestlers deserve more money. Nfl has a monopoly on football, they pay. Wwe dont even let guys do endorsements its bullshyt.

Oh and the ventura shyt? Wanted to unionize when he was on his way out. Wrestling is not an institution like football. These arent the most educated people... they arent 9-5ers. Ask ya neighborhood gangs to unionize youd have a easier time.

It’s funny how John Oliver is out here bringing up valid points about a real problem, but the big focus of this thread is on a joke he made about Roman. I feel sorry for some of you who don’t look outside your little bubble. :scust:

The whole wrestling industry is a bubble, that's the problem. It's thought of as a very forgettable circus by the mainstream, so they're not gonna care. The industry has functioned as its own weird microcosm for so long, that everyone in it is just used to the status quo and accepts it.

It'll take the wrestlers, collectively, really making some noise for things to ever change. And they won't, cause they are bigger marks than the neckbeards who watch.

In the recent days since this story was done about WWE and the whole Independent Contractors thing on John Oliver's show, I've been trying to figure out something that's been racking my brain the last couple of days. Not to sound like a " WWE apologist" or nor I'M IN DEFENSE OF WWE, I just want to know why is WWE being singled out in this type of a situation. To my knowledge beside AEW, I don't know of any of company in the world that has a health care plan in place for their wrestlers (if there is please let me know). I just think that the piece should have focus on wrestling as a whole and not just WWE.
