It's hilarious, cats in here like "Oh nothing will happen:mjlol:"

But by the time Wrestlemania rolls around and they just sat for 10 hours watching it they gon be like "I hate this fukking company:mjcry:"

:laff::laff::laff:

I don’t know what your second sentence has to do with Oliver’s response. Seems like you just wanna throw shots out. :beli:

The issue with E’s independent contract dealing is known, it’s just that this dude put more light on it. Are news sites making a big deal of this? No. Are wrestlers standing up against their contracts? No. This dude made a video last year shytting on the E and life went on.

true
but if a former NFL player gets CTE he doesnt go after his high school or pee wee team
goes after the NFL

heavy is the head that wears the crown
WWE for all purposes is wrestling...they've made strives providing rehab for ex-wrestlers, toning the head trauma....but alot of the changes they made were to get good PR and limit future litigation.

Don’t forget they started doing that shyt after a wrestler murdered his family in 2007. Did the rehab thing start around that time?

Just watched. Oliver is right about everything.

Industry will never change, though. The few who do think in business terms like proper independent contractors (Hall, Nash, Brock) just got shyt on.

It took deaths for it to happen, but it’s hard to say WWE didn’t make things safer. The culture is more anti-drug and steroid abuse by most people’s accounts. That schedule is extreme though.
Outside of oversee house shows... What does the cost and revenue does American House event even Garner? I wouldn't be surprised if WWE lost money.

Damn he went at Vince hard :russ:

Dr. Oz catching a stray :deadmanny:

I do think saying Vince is responsible for wrestlers dying early is unfair. The pedophile joke was unfunny and weird

That was a good ass segment though. I don't agree with Oliver all the time but he's funny sometimes. I fukks with him

NO SYMPY
Wuhyuhknowwww, John Olive Oil makesh a good poimt! If I'm a nindetendo contractor, I shupbeabem to compete ferother premoshos. Maybe if Vence gave @Kevin_Nash health insurals, he wouldn't be standing on two chicken legs! Which you can get a good deal on right now at Shoney's, as a matterfactal.

One of you needs to go at this c*nt for talking down a good dad amd cancer survivor
The c*nt isnt talking down, he's advocating for the good dad and cancer survivor to receive healthcare and basic benefits that billionaire employers should be expected to provide to their employees.

Do we even know if WWE is paying for Roman's cancer treatment? You would assume so, but then theres a lot of things you might assume about the biggest carny operation in the world that turn out to be wrong. The contract Oliver showed stated that WWE only pays for treatment for issues that occurred in the ring. :martin:

John Oliver has no reach or real audience.

Nothing he says has any real impact

That being said Vince needs to treat his performers better and act more like the Costcos and Googles of the world that actually care for their employees
