There's a lot of people that thought it was cute and support it, breh. Take the good with the bad.

As for Finn himself, people need to give him some time. You see the inklings of badassery start to be planted for future movies but don't realize that Finn had NEVER seen real combat. He was pretty much a Private in training but Phasma was grooming him because he was in the top 1% in all combat capabilities. Dude was the perfect storm trooper (Hos only weakness is that he has s conscious) but he's also a child soldier.

-Finn showed amazing battle awareness, quick thinking in tactics, an amazing shot with a blaster (One of the better shooters we've seen actually), and other good qualities

People don't remember but Han wasn't some über badass that needed no help. He had to be saved, needed help, and made mistakes. Finn is probably the strongest willed and most morally strong characters in all of Star Wars.

Dude stormed into the middle of a goddamn war planet and was like "fukk your plan, y'all don't care about Rey but I'm gonna save her" despite the fact that he was outmatched, didn't know how he was gonna save her, and that the fate of the Rebellion rested on his hands.

I'm thinking we gonna end up seeing Finn be the leader of an elite crack rebellion squad that gets sent in to make the impossible happen.
