What? Film. Marinos film is no more impressive than the guys I mentioned. Youre just rigid and stuck in the past. Why shouldnt accolades matter too?? I could put on a highlight tape of Bert Jones throwing darts..or even a Rex Grossman..why shouldnt there awards matter? John Elway made some of the most awe inspiring throws, ever. Am I supposed to ignore his shytty seasons, his weak MVP year and never being 1st team All Pro.

Im far from a Phins fan but Marino was the best passer i ever seen until Rodgers came. Even then, i would put Marino 1A and Rodgers 1B based off of eras played. I never have and never will judge QBs off of rings because its dumb and a team effort, not an individual talent evaluation. I dont give a shyt if Rodgers had 8 rings on him, if he was a mediocre passer playing on a good team(s), he still wouldnt be the goat.

Ok Marino did his thing til 92. Why the fail off? He was only 31. That wasnt s great era for QBs..Montana was hurt often..i love how Marino is in a different stratosphere, yet Cunningham won 2 Bert Bell Awards(MVP). But Marino was so outstanding and transcendant that he couldnt win another MVP award..Marinos last dying years? Young is the same age as Marino..less playing time obviously. But Marino had no idea falling off so soon..
