While I understand why Drake didn't respond, and it's completely within his power not too, he lost (even more) credibility as an MC.

nikka has come at other people for less. But he knows he won't win this one lyrically so I get it.

Dude was on SNL twice, has a deal with Apple, and now DMX apologizing and giving him his blessings, while the last proof given is from Coke Fiend X, you still don't really lose credibility from being what you said you were in the first place. People really acting like he said he was harder than Pac :why:

Though to be fair, he doesn't need to win lyrically, he wins by the fact that he went 9x platinum alone, oh and that he can get damn near anyone on any of his tracks. If it were me, I would sneak diss Joe just to see how big of a hole he digs for himself. Watching him shadow box on twitter was hilarious, definite troll bait.

Of course not....but that didn't even happen to Meek, and people swore his career ended a year ago. Fast forward, he got 3-4 plaques in 1 day, a year after he supposedly "died". Look at that MMG party from a few days ago, the entire crowd is reciting his lyrics.

So nah, I don't expect this to affect Drake. But that's not the point. If it was then "Back 2 Back" was a failure too, regardless of what it sold or streamed.
