why is this so hard :snoop::mjlol:

at the end of the day, does anyone really give a fukk who the VP is? maybe we're overthinking it

im still kamala or klobuchar
Joe Biden is making it hard. Given that there is a national crisis occurring, he should have already picked a vice president.

idk where u live, but down south that shyt don’t fly. :unimpressed:

black men and women down here don’t support that at all. It’s by far the majority not the minority.

maybe in cali they think like that, not the rest of America tho.

any prominent black politician has to have a black spouse, it’s a minimum requirement in the south/midwest.

If she had a black husband, kamala would have this wrapped up no doubt.
Plenty of swirling going on down south. :mjlol:

Kamala having a White husband is a big deal. It is not just down south either. Even where I’m at Black people look at you funny is you are married to a non Black spouse. It is a even bigger deal with Kamala considering that she is mixed and have a bad criminal justice record. Let’s be honest. Obama is a great politician, but he would of never received the amount of Black support he got if he was married to a White woman. Michelle was a major plus for him.

Bruh!!!! I remember saying this shyt and the ladies of thecoli thought we were being ridiculous :hubie:,

Let Obama parade around the south with a white woman, we would have had president Hillary Clinton. Niccas keep thinking the rest of the country is as liberal as New York. Certain shyt matters, especially in the south.

Nothing but pure Facts. Kamala hid her white husband throughout the primary, cause she already knew we weren’t going for that :camby:

The thing about Harris is she's a mediocre retail politician and shaky campaigner. I think it stems from the fact that she isn't ideologically driven and this is her first post where those things are necessary. Buttigieg isn't ideologically driven either; however, we can all tell he's been grooming himself for higher office since high school. You can tell she didn't plan on running this early, so there could be a learning curve...

I don't think she'd juice Black turnout the way Obama did... if your black candidate can't do that, then why even have one? We can speculate why that may be the case, several of you already have, but I find that worrisome. For this cycle I think there are enough factors that it wouldn't matter but if this is supposed to set her up for 2024 then I'm bearish.

A lot can change though...

Lol my fiancée loves her and I'm warming to the idea of her being VP. She's basically everything the media wants Klobuchar to be but, like Biden, she's not a hardliner when it comes to policy positions (aka generic Democrat). I think there's an argument that she'd be best equipped to run in 2024, but man it's reckless to forecast that far out.

It sounds terrible but if Kamala switched places with her sister Maya it would be a different story :hubie:.

If Kamala was married to a Tony West (her sister's husband) and/or had a child (Kamala's niece Meena - who BTW is married to a Black man), things would be differently :hubie:.

However, I don't think it would be as big of a deal as some of you are claiming. Kamala is half Indian, so it's kind of whatever. Also, from what I gather do Indian-Americans even particularly view Kamala as "Indian"? :hubie:
