There's always been a difference between Bernie bros/zealots and Sanders supporters.
Exactly. I voted for Sanders in the primaries (in 16 and this year) but I'm the first to admit that some of his Twitter supporters are just obnoxious

How does Kamala put her foot in her mouth? She doesn’t seem boring to me. She speaks well and is qualified. Kamala may be more exciting but she tends to put her foot in her mouth and turn people off. Her record is also an issue.
If Kamala was hated by Black Californians, she wouldn't have won the primary or the general election (she lost the Hispanic vote of course to Sanchez, 53-47). Also, the reason she didn't do so well in the presidential primary is more due to the fact that many Black voters didn't think that a Black woman could beat Trump.Very flimsy evidence.
First a 50 percent favorable rating isn’t really that good. Especially since she was a presidential candidate. Kamala getting 79 percent of the Black vote in California against a Latina Democratic doesn’t really say much. Biden will get anywhere from 85- 90 percent of the Black vote in November regardless of his running mate. Almost any Democratic nominee would get this percentage. It is about turnout. Will Kamala with her horrible AG record be able to turnout Black voters who stayed at home in Milwaukee, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania in 2016?
In the Primaries Kamala spited with Black voters after the first debate. But after her AG record became more known her support among Black voters went down. When she left the race her Black support was only at 5 percent.
This is anecdotal evidence but most Black people I know don’t really like her. Including Black women. The fact that she is mixed and have a White husband plays a part in that (along with her AG record). Obama would of never been as popular with Black people if he had a white wife. Michelle was a major plus for him.
I still see no evidence that Kamala would be a positive on the ticket. Also if exploited right, she could become a major liability. She actually is a decent senator. I think that is were she should remain.
She went after Biden on busing, and then turned around and agreed with his stance on the issue. She laughed about smoking weed on the Breakfast Club despite her record. She wasted time in the debate with that silly effort to get Trump banned from Twitter. Raised her hand to support elimination of private insurance then changed her stance the next day.How does Kamala put her foot in her mouth?
Fair enough. Almost every politician does that thoughShe went after Biden on busing, and then turned around and agreed with his stance on the issue. Raised her hand to support elimination of private insurance then changed her stance the next day.
If you don’t think her AG record isn’t bad then so be it. I think most people will disagree. Tulsi Gabbard of all people was able to body her on it. The first step act is ok considering that it got through a Republican senate. However, it is a extremely watered down bill and not going to combat criticisms of her record. Trump will also take credit for that bill considering he signed it into law. Besides I stated that she is a decent senator. That doesn’t mean she should be VP.How does Kamala put her foot in her mouth?
Also, Terri Sewell is boring to me but you view her differently...whatever

Additionally, her "terrible" record isn't nearly as bad as what some are claiming. She was actually a fairly decent prosecutor but of course especially in America, there is no "perfect" prosecutor. Also, while she was AG of California, the number of people in prison decreased EVERY YEAR. If she was just locking up Black people left and right then why did the California's prison population decline every year?
Furthermore, almost every prospective Black female VP pick has a legal/prosecutorial background. Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms & Stacey Abrams are lawyers and Rep. Val Demings was the Chief of Police in Orlando.
Kamala as Senator has helped passed criminal justice reform (the First Step Act) and her criminal justice plan she rolled out on the campaign trail was very progressive. She has also sponsored or co-sponsored many bills that would positively benefit the Black community (addressing Black maternal care and infant mortality, police body cameras, anti-lynching legislation, etc). Being Vice President or President is completely different than being a District Attorney or State AG and Kamala has shown as Senator that she is committed to criminal justice reform.
The biggest problem I think for Kamala is what you mentioned at the end. The fact that she's half Indian and that she's married to a White man.
I think that Kamala would be a great choice to be VP. If Biden picks someone else, whatever. People are going to be mad regardless of who Biden picks

Also I wouldn’t pick any of the names you mentions. I already stated Stacey Abrams wouldn’t be my choice. I don’t know enough about Val Demings. Lance Bottom is cool but wouldn’t be my first choice.
Um, why?Letitia James
she has no husband.Letitia James
Stacey don’t got one eithershe has no husband.
Let's be honest, Kamala's husband's being white probably helps with white voters, and hurts with maybe a slim portion of black voters. Non factor.
"and she has a white husband, you know, I like that"
idk where u live, but down south that shyt don’t fly.
black men and women down here don’t support that at all. It’s by far the majority not the minority.
maybe in cali they think like that, not the rest of America tho.
any prominent black politician has to have a black spouse, it’s a minimum requirement.
If she had a black husband, kamala would have this wrapped up no doubt.
