Kamala as VP would be a different ballgame. She would have the backing of a President Biden, President Obama & FLOTUS Michelle and the entire Democratic leadership. Also, Kamala is to the left of Biden (but not a "socialist") so she would have a progressive platform. In 2024, the AOC wing of the party would just say "She was a prosecutor before becoming VP" or "Kamala is a phony progressive" and that's it. That wouldn't work
I’m not a fan of Harris for several reasons. I’m not going to rehash my problems with her. However, she is a better choice than Rice. I just don’t know who Rice appeal to. Who is her base? She has no domestic policy experience and a record of a hawkish foreign policy. It crazy that she is one of the final choices.
