I like Alexa for her non-wrestling output (mic skills and looks) but in-ring wise. To me she's like the female Enzo in that her mic skills outweigh her in-ring skills by so much. I don't understand how she's 3 time champ while it took Naomi 7 years to be champ.

Braun is a monster character so we have to see what happens after his push ends. Even Big Show, Henry and Kane have had to play comedic faces. If he gets through then I'll give you Braun as a "star."

We'll see where Jinder goes. Having the Bollywood Boyz back him up does give them a chance to book him in a fluke victory.

That's exactly what a star is. They could have Tyler Breeze as the next contender after Rusev and say DING new star! but if numbers drop, guess what? We'll see how Backlash numbers are.

Jinder Mahal got a main event push with 0 build, he has some fans excited but as of right now he's a big ass meme. Nowhere close to being a 'star' yet, lmao.

He actually had a better build in two weeks than a bunch of other dudes have had longer builds. To look credible, it's not how long you've been built, it's what you do in that time, and Jinder has been excellent in the limited amount of time given. Can't say much about him in the ring, cause I've barely seen him in the ring outside of squashes

It's an attempt. I can respect that.

All of this pretty much lives and dies with Vince's willingness to write them well over a pretty long period of time. And if Vince has proved anything over the years, it's that he has the attention span of a coke addled goldfish....

The only exceptions seem to be when a talent is a proven money maker, or when someone tells Vince he can't get a certain talent over, and he gets all nuts trying to prove the naysayers wrong.

This is pretty much my point. Jinder's getting a ME PPV title shot for WWE's most prestigious title but we don't know what the dude is capable of. Because almost every time he's been in the ring the past few years he's getting jobbed out in 5 minutes or less. I personally watched him get squashed on Main Event at Staples Center in October.

I understand people being excited for a new guy getting pushed but Jinder's build prior to winning the six-pack challenge is basically non-existent. He's never had any other gold, never been in a notable feud that elevated him, and most fans can't even name his finisher.

It could work out for him if he knocks the rest of this feud out of the park, but his push just screams Vince just randomly changing shyt just because of a last minute decision. If people are already calling him a 'star,' then we're definitely beyond the pale as far as his hype.

I wouldn't go as far to say "stars" though, when you're talking stars you're talking the level guys like Cena and Orton are at. Those 3 are still a little below Seth Dean Roman level
