Jimmy Butler traded to Philly for Robert Covington and Dario Saric. Jimmy plans to re-sign.

Where will Jimmy land?

I think they can compete for it. Philly, Boston & Toronto are basically locked in at the top, last spot is between Indiana, Milwaukee, Washington. Don't think it's unreasonable for Miami w/Butler to be able to compete with them

Depends what they give up....If they wind up doing a multiplayer deal with J-Rich and Whiteside i could see them staying in that 6-8 spot...

My mistake.

I still think top 4 seed is a little much

I don’t think Butler moves the needle all that much

At this point if you don't see the stats, wins and losses, or a 3rd of the league killing themselves to get him on their team nothing will convince you on how great he is

Even without a true star, the Heat find a way to compete in the playoffs. I'm not surprised that Jimmy would be attracted to the Heat culture. Good coaching, good management, good ownership. That's why I didn't mind the Suns trading the Heat's 2021 pick for Bridges. Pat and Spo always find a way to make their team competitive.
