But the bulk numbers are there, correct?
Just trying to figure out the spin.

This girl is claiming she is Black and filling up a quota. We really trying to rely on these institutions?
I usually disagree with @marcuz about biracials but this shyt is absurd
what exactly are you outraged about?
she wouldn't pass for black in Africa.what exactly are you outraged about? and what are the details cuz there is no AA at UC Berkeley
Thats a White woman filling a quota meant for an Black American
she wouldn't pass for black in Africa.
its not beyond the realm of possibilities that she has some black in her and there is no quota or AA at UC Berkeley, so i dont think she is filling up anything, maybe they are trying to recruit her but....so what?
I don't doubt she has Black blood but to self-identify and fill a quota meant for a Black woman is sickening.
Show me where this isn't a minimum amount of us that they have to accept?
there is no AA or quotas in the UC system, have you not being paying attention to the controversy at UC and UM and the Supreme Court over AA?
that is one good thing and why i support getting rid of AA, it means every black person in the system got there on their merits and without AA or quotas
maybe this chick got invited for a recruiting session or something so that she would apply, but in the end nobody gets treated special in the UC system in terms of admission
Regardless, we can't have people like her skewing our progress. How are we suppose to monitor progress?
how is she impeding anything? you have to fill all the details, cuz like i said nobody is treated special in the UC system, i think what happened is that she got invited to a recruiting session so that she can APPLY, and its probably cuz she's female, because racial recruiting programs are also illegal
you monitor progress by monitoring african american culture, which is what really determines the future of black people, not AA programs
Statistically she will be labeled Black in their system, you don't see the issue if this is widespread?
