I started this thread with the notion that more blacks needed to enter STEM to which you started to cape for Chaucer and Canterbury Tales, then when the topic switched to blacks in SV, you tried to use racism to defend your argument instead of the fact that there aren't even enough blacks in the field to start with. Now you're talking about entrepreneurship as if its some catch all and that the average college grad has enough knowledge to start a company like AMD with no functional work experience or anything ...THEN you talk about starting shyt in DC or ATL.

I'm not against Blacks in STEM... I'm against Blacks using their STEM skill-sets to enrich Whites. You claim that it's a necessary evil but how many people get trapped working for someone when their initial intention was experience/financial/connections?

There aren't enough people majoring in STEM anyways.

Look at the graduation rates for blacks in STEM fields.

I saw the GA Tech rolls online a few months ago for that year's graduating class. All the black students majored in the easier fields.

Whose fault is that?

And GA Tech is of the best engineering schools in the country.

Most app developers have experience and formal educations. Do your research. Posting a story about a single 15 year old doesn't mean much.
