I was arguing all series about keeping A-Rod where he was. However, it's not like the Yankees can just bench everybody that isn't hitting. I could sit there and make a legit case to bench Cano as well for Nunez, but that wouldn't go over too well.


They've all sucked pretty much. They're also going to be necessary towards this team winning tonight and if they're lucky to get far enough, win in the ALCS and World Series too. Play the cards you're dealt. That's all the Yankees can really do.

With that said, Joe better have a short leash on Curtis. All hands are on deck tonight so if a key AB comes up, and you need a bunt or you need a fly ball, use Gardner.

I think it's hurt but come on his manager defending grandy being in the lineup knowing hes must make him feel like shyt it's one thing for the fans but for it to make it seem like Arod is done by the manager .

he continues to give kurtis and 1-34 every opportunity to succeed, yet pinch-hits for a-flab. he's scapegoating him.

kurtis is the worst hitter in the lineup easily.

yeah I dont mind Arod being benched per se but once again just like under Torre hes being singled out. He hasnt been any worse than Granderson or Swisher. This is gonna go over great, hes here for another 5 years whether we like it or not, Im not saying bend over to appease him no homo,you can at this point drop him in the order or pinch hit but to just bench him idk

only reason you can make a case it isnt worse is that Arod was still a superstar coming off a great year in 06, he actually might be somewhat done now. so its about even. but either way I disagree with it

The thing is O'Day right now is unhittable. A-Rod isn't the only one that can't pick up the ball off his hands. Everyone looks stupid against O'Day.
