Plus I can see granderson getting traded this offseason.

If he wants to take the credit for the Yankees hitting (especially Granderson) then he has to take at least some of the blame when the hitting is not only bad but straight up awful. Cano is swinging at balls, Tex is swinging at junk, A-Rod you already know, and Granderson for all his HR's can't hit the broad side of a barn. Swisher...well we were never looking for Triple Crown caliber hitting from Swish but try not to laugh when you pop up. I know it's a calming mechanism cause that's his personality but show some kind fire out there.

On another note...why not DH A-Rod and make Chavez play 3rd??? Did the Binder reveal something to Girardi this morning? Some ancient spell that points out a statistical favor for A-Rod to be benched?

Desperate moves looks just like what they are desperate girardi never sounds relaxed while davey johnson predicting game 5 victories in game 4. the manager now revealed he has zero confidence in Arod when you look around and see the whole team pretty much struggling so if you advance how does Arod feel

I was arguing all series about keeping A-Rod where he was. However, it's not like the Yankees can just bench everybody that isn't hitting. I could sit there and make a legit case to bench Cano as well for Nunez, but that wouldn't go over too well.


They've all sucked pretty much. They're also going to be necessary towards this team winning tonight and if they're lucky to get far enough, win in the ALCS and World Series too. Play the cards you're dealt. That's all the Yankees can really do.

With that said, Joe better have a short leash on Curtis. All hands are on deck tonight so if a key AB comes up, and you need a bunt or you need a fly ball, use Gardner.
