He is a classic smart-dumb negro.

Jaylen Brown: 'The reason why I signed with Donda Sports, it represented education, it represented activism, disruption, it represented single-parent households, and a lot more people are involved in something like that.'

Man, I've seen enough with dude. :russ:

I actually do wish he would shut up and dribble.:pachaha:
Dude went to a NASA camp as a kid and people think he’s a genius because of it. Literally any human being who is famous can give a guest lecture at Harvard. People so devoid of that world that they think this guy is giving groundbreaking analysis by saying sports is a driving force in American politics and politicians can ignore athletes at their own peril :russ:.

All this while messing with the same video thots as any other athlete.

This is the guy coli posters choose to shyt on..... :mjpls:

Before joining the NBA, Brown's intelligence and off-the-court interests were a major part of the pre-draft discourse.

Brown is a product of a background that includes a family of educators. Brown's mother, Mechalle, earned her PhD and doctorate from the University of Michigan

In a 2019 feature with Boston.com, Brown explained that during his formative years, his mother and grandmother would urge him to write book reports instead of constantly watching basketball and playing video games.

With a strong educational background, Brown took honors classes at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga., where he blossomed into a McDonald's All-American on the court.

Given his basketball stardom, Brown had an array of Division 1 colleges to choose from during his recruitment. With academics in mind, Brown pledged to play at the University of California-Berkeley, a prestigious institution that's nearly 2,500 miles away from his Georgia home

Like many college athletes, Brown enrolled at Cal during the summer ahead of his freshman year. He immediately began his foray into higher education with a six-week bridge program that he admits was difficult but allowed him to understand what would be expected of him in college.

As a freshman at Berkeley, Brown enrolled in a master's-level course in the school's Cultural Studies of Sport in Education program. While balancing the workload of a master's-level course, Brown's play on the court earned him Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors.

In addition to his basketball endeavors, Brown's extracurricular activities also included membership in the school's chess club.

Brown spent just one year at Cal-Berkeley but made his impact felt, developing a reputation for his intelligence and inquisitive nature. Ahead of the 2016 draft, ESPN's Andscape described Brown as the NBA Draft's Renaissance man, citing his intriguing personality.

"He is a person who is inquisitive about everything," an NBA executive told Andscape. "Because he is so smart, it might be intimidating to some teams. He wants to know why you are doing something instead of just doing it. I don’t think it’s bad, but it’s a form of questioning authority"

Among Brown's most notable choices was his decision to not hire an agent given his understanding that NBA contracts were pro-rated based on draft position. Brown instead relied on a team of advisors that includes Basketball Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas and another California alum, Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

Since joining the Celtics in 2016, Brown became the youngest person to deliver a lecture at Harvard, the youngest person to be elected as a VP of the NBA Players Association, and has delivered a TED Talk at MIT.

Brown's motto of FCHWPO, "Faith, Consistency, Hard Work Pays Off" doubles as his social media handles, and he has a number of endeavors that connect him with the community.

Brown's 7uice Foundation partners with institutions, organizations, and social change leaders to bridge the opportunity gap for youth in traditionally underserved Black and Brown communities.

giving a lecture at harvard doesn't mean what you think it means. celebrities do it all the time. kim kardashian has given one.
You silly ninjas really comparing Jaylen Brown to Kim Kardashian....yeah I know for sure this board is no longer predominantly black. Either that or we have a bunch of Hodge twins posting on here.

This simply isnt true, at his best grant hill was a top 5-10 player in the league. Right now jaylen brown is not a top 10 player. He was 5xall NBA and brown only has one NBA selection, you can make the point and agree with brown, but to say he was better is very debatable

The talent pool at the top is significantly deeper at the wing position than it was back then.

Stop being dumb. Why would they replace a wing with another big with KAT or Banchero. Brunson was coming off hand surgery. And Maxey & Spida would’ve been too small. And on that list, besides Brunson, who's a an all-NBA talent.

They left Brown off the team because he stood up for Kyrie, and the powers that be ✡️, so now he's getting his "humbling" moment.
1. Do you really think that they were thinking "omg we need to find a direct replacement that matches Kawhi?"
2. If you really think so, which they obviously didn't, then add Buckets or even Randle if he's back from injury.
3. Derrick White is smaller than JB as well, those "small guy" are just an inch or so shorter than DW and more athletic. The coaches rearrange their demands for players, it's not a normal team there's endless talent.

Again, a lot of players were against how Kyrie was getting treated, I don't know why "they" (who????) would single him out.

But it's impossible to have such a discussion with someone who always believes that it's jews making all the decisions in the world. They give him finals MVP but not benchwarmer at the olympics. They give him 300 million but not benchwarmer at the olympics  fukking Kyrie is signed to Dallas which is owned by one of the most evil Israeli zionists billionaires in the world.

Phil Knight is not even jewish and he stood up for Kyrie because him being a union representative and he didn't say anything wild.

Finally, someone said. I damn sure think it

“fukk Nike!” :birdman: —> continues to wear wild Nike player exclusives…with the check cut off or hidden :patrice:. Trust me Jaylen, Nike didn’t need you to market their Kobes :mjlol:

Also, JB clearly had guidance as a child, but all that extracurricular shyt on his resume and CV is mad easy to pull off when you have guidance. Y’all act like being involved in high school is hard…it’s not, most people just don’t have the guidance and drive. Not to mention being a top tier athlete helps open doors

This is why I can't stans USA Basketball. It's never about just winning. It's always politics. And every fukking Olympics or FIBA championship all we see bytching and whining from everybody.

Like stfu already, tired of the bytching because of who isn't on the team, or how many minutes someone plays, or how many points we win by in a exhibition
