It's funny how people are OK with allegations of child abuse, sexual abuse, rape against the church and creepy olympics coaches and doctors decades later, but as soon as it's a popular celebrity, it's sus. Nobody is calling the women's olympic team a liar or the victims of the Catholic church. We've been through decades of these allegations and there's a ton of psychological and legal data that explains why victims don't feel safe coming forward right away. A 13 year old girl going to the police and/or her parents to explain Jay Z and Puffy sexually violated her, at the height of their popularity, is so unlikely. People come forward when they feel safe, when they have some distance from the incident, and definitely when they see other people have the courage to come forward. That's just how it goes and how it always goes. Also criminal charges have a time limit, civil charges do not, so yes, if the criminal statute of limitation has expired, the civil is the only recourse.
This is all true as well. That said, this isn’t like those cases where you had any evidence. It’s literally a case that cannot be proven and so it’s strictly a suit to try to get Jay Z to pay money and he said fukk off. That’s why these cases aren’t brought forward - there’s usually not enough evidence regardless of the credibility of the witness.

It’s really crazy to see, look at social media since the news broke. nikkas are legit happy and saying I knew it or I told you so about a man being accused of raping a 13 year old. If I was a celebrity I wouldn’t want nothing to do with a large portion of us, I don’t give a fukk about how it sounds neither.

The online lynch mob doesn’t care about justice, they are out for blood to satiate their need for drama and entertainment.

This is an underrated but great point.

I'm gonna remain neutral as I normally try to do in cases like these. I don't have the information to speak with certainty in any direction.

The problem in too many instances is people pick sides without having all of the info. Guilt or innocene is determined based upon how they feel about the accused/accuser. They then stay dug into those positions no matter what further details are revealed.

We will just have to wait to see if the accusations have merit.

More specifically, you signed an agreement before entering into the mediation that the mediation itself is confidential. And then you can come to an agreement to settle including nondisclosure. Jay Z said fukk you and sued for extortion knowing the ramifications.
Honestly, every mediation I’ve done has been confidential. But those are all post-filing mediations ordered by common pleas or the federal trial court.

The more I think about this, the more it weighs in JAY Z’s favor to go on the attack here.

Seems like you already have your mind made up without any more facts

Because the allegations are being filed by a scam attorney who uses legalized extortion to get money.

The cacs on Reddit are rejoicing as well so it’s not just a black people thing.

This thread is looking like the Diddy/R. Kelly threads.

Posters trying to find holes in the victim's story and the lawyer's character ,
just for more details to come out later that proves the victim right.

TheColi has a terrible record when it comes to this kind of stuff .

What victims have been proven right in the Diddy situation?

This is really unfortunate. Diddy has been a big socialte for decades. Almost every rapper, actor, professional athlete, and lesser extent politician has gone to his parties, took a picture with him, had business with him, etc. Now people will accuse anyone who met Diddy or took a picture with him of being involved in the freak offs and all kinds of wicked stuff.
Jay and Diddy hung out a lot though, especially in recent years. seemed like more than just dudes who saw eachother at industry events.
