Jay definitely benefited from them being gone and Nas not wanting the spot…

RD was a good album but folks had to go back and revisit it thanks to Vol 1.

It finally went Plat in 2002.

Jay must have took the “treat everything like your first project” advice from Biggie literally.

Vol 1 has its moments despite the shiny suit influence.

Nas wanted the spot

Reasonable doubt could not be bought in stores after 1997. It was reissued in 1999

Point still stand thats why it took as long as it did

As a Jay-Z Stan, u should have knew that…

There’s a reason why Jay said everyone lamed out on RD.

Coincidentally Vol 2 and the RD reissue came out in the same season

Dame is really in bad shape. I thought he was rich person broke, but those back taxes are problematic (you can't even file Bankruptcy out of those).
Based on the article, he owes the following:

$193,000 - Back Child Support
$8.7 Million - Unpaid Taxes
$823,000 - To Webber (original lawsuit)
