Jay-Z's Examination Of Wealth, Race, And Self On His New Album 4:44

I've been sitting with this album the past week. This that "introspective, complicated-rhymin" Jay that Kanye alluded to. I'm glad this nikka showed up, again. I can't say I was anticipating this shyt at all as his last couple of projects were underwhelming to me. Not wack but not magical either. (Sometimes the in between gets lost in the shuffle.) He rekindled the fire, the magic, and the allure with this one. That old braggadocious and witty Jay that be stuntin on other rappers that we all have come to know is here but it's good to hear the more insightful, introspective, interesting, and vulnerable one too. And he floated over this beautiful soundscape that No ID laced. Just a very dope addition to his collection. I think I connected just as much with this project than anything else he's ever released. My nikka pushed the culture forward with this one.
