Why do people keep saying this, it's nothing like a nas album.

Has Nas talked intimately about kelis, family and friends on his joints?

The only thing that's similar to nas album is this jay album is conscious

Uh yes. You clearly haven't listened to a Nas album.

Only TheColi thinks about Nas. And only on TheColi does anyone think that Jay Z or even NO ID gave a fukk about Nas when they made this album.

There's a reason Moonlight happened: Because everyone involved forgot about Nas Album Done, because they considered it forgettable.

I see what you're doing though. Jay will end up getting credit for something YOU think Nas did before him.

Life is Good just isn't better than 4:44 though.

Nas is a celebrated MC worldwide you fukking idiot. He could go to any corner of the globe and sell out a show. Shut the fukk up with your "only on the Coli" bullshyt

But it helped us in the sense that it gave us more time to make some really important records. A lot of the thought process was, I held up classic albums and said, "What were the good parts and what were the mistakes?" Sometimes these classics, the continuity is what makes them classic, and then you have these examples of reaching for the single or the radio record. Albums I was pointing to were like Marvin Gaye's What's Going On, Confessions by Usher, [Jay-Z's] The Blueprint, [Nas'] Illmatic, [Kanye West's] My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Link the the joints where his wife and family got more than a bar in a song.

Where two to three tracks are dedicated to them on one album.
No, why don't you go educate your damn self instead of wanting me to spoon feed it to you. Put down the 21 savage and go and listen to Nas's entire discography. You could learn a thing or 100.

You can't produce it because it doesn't exist in such a format. I know because I've listened.

Its so clear he wanted to take Nas's vibe. Has a song with Damien Marley (underwhelming honestly), Talking that black empowerment, beats are secondary to the lyrics, raps about his hood alot.

Definitely the most focused, Nas's like album we've seen from Jay. Us Nas fans have been on this tip for the past 20 years.

Catch up nikkas.

Ya'll are so miserable :wow:

You know nothing and you're wrong. Many people will let you know this very soon.

In the meantime, enjoy Jay's first conscious album. Its a good effort i must admit. Just glad No ID was able to get him refocused on meaningful music.

Eat a dikk.

I'm TELLING you no one thought about him or Life is Good when making this album.

And In 2017, Nas is irrelevant.

How about an entire album cover

Nas_-_Life_is_Good.jpg

The entire song daughters
Dedicating his entire career and first album especially to ill will
The song Heaven written while his mom is on her deathbed
dance after she died
Poppa was a player

"I could continue" is a supreme understatement

I mean, it's clear you've literally never listened to Nas and I fell for your trap, but, props for so swiftly losing credibility

Nas has rapped about that stuff, but your point stands.

Nas will never make a Album like 4:44 & Jay will never make a Album like Untitled

4:44 dont sound like any damn Nas album I ever heard.

Nas stans just mad Jay getting attention
