the things is both those albums (For Me) are better then this album

and mega agrees with me ...

i am glad peopel love it means meaningful rap can gain some traction in the industry

the BPMs on here are consistent and it kept me going no problem...

I gotta dig into it more. But my early impression is that this is a smart & emotionally honest album, but Jay is just no where near the emcee he used to be. The element of being an impressive emcee is missing from this project. I still think it's a good project, but definitely not a top 3 Jay album. The production is also not near his best work. He's dropping good game though, he's just not what he used to be.

dude's flow has just gotten beyond lazy.

doesn't even sound like he's rapping on half these tracks, sounds more like he's just talkin over a beat.

should not even be mentioned along with his classic albums. this is something so totally different.
