People truly hated on Nasir for no reason Haha. I honestly don't get the hate at all. My own gripe was parts or the mixing. Other than that. Not for radio, cop shot the kid, bonjour(a sleeper, nas floated), everything, Adam and Eve, simple things. White label could have been a little better, but even that bangs a little bit. That song felt a little rushed.

Nasir was dope. People definitely hated on that joint because of Kanye.

Nasir had crazy expectations tho at least for me, I love Simple Things especially the beat and Bonjour was good too, rest was just aight nothing on the level of We Major, Poppa Was a Playa, or Still Dreaming

Does the mixing sound shytty to anybody else?

Jay voice sound low on a few tracks cause some sounds from the beat is too loud. Compared Don Toliver album that also released today (mixed by Mike Dean who`s one of the best though imo). This album lacks a wide soundstage, and clarity. At least on headphones that is.I think they still updating some of the mixes. Next week it might be completely fixed.

There is no logical argument that can be made against Jay Electronica being the best lyricist ever.

He dope and arguably elite

but no, Lupe and Thought got him in that category as the best lyricist ever.

Now lyrical content hes def up there with them in cotent, but thats more preference based on whether you like their^^^ material, or do you prefer Elecs more Quran/Islam influenced material.

Being that I am not a Muslim, i obviously prefer Lupe/Thought's material. Altho Lupe is a muslim but he doesnt make it the focus of so much of his content like Elec

Nothing on here hit like Exhibit A or C off first listen.

This isn't an album with instant bangers it's an album that flows well and has some dope, deep lyrics in there which you'll need a few spins to take in.
