For some reason I thought Taichi debuted last year, but this actually is his first G1. He was tearing up a little after the announcement :mjcry:

Winning the tournament on his debut :ohlawd:

I agree but he's looked so broken down and hobbled at Dominion both in his match and the pull apart with Jericho that I don't think he should even be in the G1 at all this year.

Find something in life that brings you as much joy as the crowd felt during those G1 announcements.

The reaction to the entrants ranged from:obama:to :ohhh:to :gladbron:to :krs:

That pop for Taichi :deadmanny:

The open disrespect of WWE :russ::russ::russ:

The commentary team mentioned Moxley and then followed up with "DAMMIT - THAT'S GOOD STUFF! :cokeboycism:"

G1 blocks look good. Wish I could go to Dallas for opening weekend. Guessing Moxley a heavy favorite but card looks stacked regardless. Lots of interesting matchups.

B Block's going to very, very interesting to watch play out. Lost of fresh matchups there.

A Block has many of the usual suspects, but adding KENTA and Ospreay should also freshen up things there.

Who do you people have winning this thing? Other than possibly White (I still haven't come around on him; not sure I ever really will) or Ibushi, this seems like a tournament that lends itself to a less predictable winner than in the past (yes, I know it's Gedo. I'm just saying).
