Thanks for posting the G1 vids. Not a big fan of Japanese wrestling but I check it out from time to time and I've been wanting to see some of the tournament.

I just went through the first 4 days of matches posted in the thread, and AJ has been far and away the most entertaining guy in the tournament so far.

The guy's just been amazing, great matches everywhere, great heeling, even the banter's been top notch (him telling some random fan to shut up during his match with Okada was really funny). In some ways, AJ might be better now than he ever was in TNA. Small sample size, yes, but I haven't enjoyed him this much in nearly a decade.

He's finally in the right place to realize his full potential.

I wonder if they give Honma a W in Yokohama. Booking wise it would make sense but it would've been better if he served as a spoiler for a big name wanting to get into the final

Shibata/Honma is right behind AJ/MiSu for me. I can't help it, I love great underdog matches.

Would you? Especially in Japan where loyalty is held in an even higher regard. The dude is super likely to hit a one day and walk away again. Not to mention, Tanahashi does NOT like dude. And I can't imagine he's the only one. Dude left the company hanging when it was at its darkest point and he was one of the few bright spots they had. I'm sure there are some loyalists who outright don't want to see him eat.
