I think it's a laughable he got in at this point of his career but Dave's bias towards New Japan clearly played on part on readers voting for him

I won't give this match the praise Meltzer is giving it (MOTY? nah), but it is an excellent match, nonetheless. This is all about "old man" Mochizuki's last stand for the title (at 45 years old he still can go) against a very insulting Shingo Takagi. Those final minutes are very intense (although they go at 500000 mph since the beginning)
