Inokism flashbacks I guess. They may not like Shibata either after he abandoned ship when they needed any help they could get.

I mean, after all the fukkery they've been through, it's understandable that they didn't look with good eyes the possibility of jobbing to "non-wrestling" guys and making New Japan look weak.

Then again, all of this might be a work. Wouldn't be the first time Tokyo Sports reports something as legit only for it to be an angle.

Just watched Tana-Okada III. Yeah Tana went over, but the true gold of this match has been overlooked.

Okada didn't hit the Rainmaker. Okada took three highflyflows and a million sling blades, but he didn't hit the Rainmaker once. That shyt as of right now is P4P the most over move in wrestling. He's been using it for about exactly a year now, and when he hits it, it's fukking over.

There's definitely a conscious decision to protect it. The crowd would've popped crazy for a Rainmaker kick out, but they're saving. That shyt is the magic bullet in this wrasslin thing now. Okada is like DDP in '98 with this shyt.

And because of how over the Rainmaker is, he has the most over dropkick in the world, too. The crowd knows that the Rainmaker WILL end the match, and he usually uses the dropkick as a desperation counter to lead into it. Dude got a bigger pop countering the sling blade with a dropkick than most guys would get with any head drop.

Okada is the truth :wow:

:wow: Love it. By far the most protected finish in wrestling, and it needs to STAY that way.

That's a relief. I'd hate to see something throw off the incredible momentum NJPW has going right now.

I have a feeling they'll lose Prince Devitt to WWE sooner or later though.
